Career Readiness (Online)-Online Assignments

Slides 1 through 6 are learning/information slides.   Slide 7 you will use the attached quiz "Are You a Team Player". After taking the quiz move on to slide 8 for scoring and slide 9 will be an analysis of your score.  After you have completed that email (subject: Team Quiz) your score and. your thoughts on the score.  Do you need to improve as a team player?  If you are a good team player, why? Anything else you think important. 

Slides 10 -14 are interview questions on teams.  Answer them in another email (Subject: Teamwork Questions) and then look at Red Flags (do you have any?) and slide 16 tell me why it is important.

At times a business will give an test on math skills and/or application skills of the applicant.   The presentation reminds you of the different ways problems are composed and the second slide contains steps in solving a problem.   Complete the Job App Math Practice you can print it out or put your answers on the document.

After watching the My Career Tech video over the Art, A/V Technology & Communication Career Cluster us the Career One Stop link below to look at various jobs in the cluster.  Pick one that interests you watch the video or read the transcript about the job.  Then go to the Occupational Outlook Handbook and type the job in to the Search Handbook area.  Look over the results.  Using the presentation complete the assignment similar to the exemplar.   On Friday you will need to look over the presentations of your classmates.
